The CIS mountain hut in the Vanoise National Park

The CIS has a mountain hut in the Vanoise National Park called ‘Plume Fine ‘ or ‘fine feather’.
In the heart of the National Park above the Rocheure valley the CIS proposes the Plume Fine mountain hut at 2170m altitude above sea level.

Access
The mountain hut is found at the beginning of the Rocheure valley. The road begins in Termignon followed by a panoramic journey up to the entrance to the Vanoise National Parc. In the Bellecombe car park the path begins which leads to the Plan du Lac mountain hut (30 minutes) and on to the Plume Fine mountain hut by a balcony path. (approximately one hour)

Location
This hut was previously a summer farm in the prairies on an undulating plateau on the side of the Rocheure valley. The area is really magical, far from the beaten track and under the Fontabert valley with gives a new perspective and access to the Tuc plateau and the Grand Roc noir much higher up.

Equipment
The refuge is equipped with a kitchen dining room area and two dormitories with a total of 20 places. The toilet and shower are outside, mattresses and blankets are provided.
